It is comforting to step into a hotel or a cafe knowing what to expect and importantly, knowing it from fellow patrons / travellers who have tried it before you. Sharing your experience can help someone.
Reviewing a business is straightforward. Simply
- Choose a place,
- Select a star rating,
- Draft a short description, and
- Upload images.
Please note that before you can rate and review places to eat or sleep, such a business must exist on Scale Indigo. If a place you want to review is not found on the website, you may add it easily as described in the “Add Places to Eat or Sleep” section.

Become an Author
When you begin to share your travel experiences with others, you begin another journey to re-live memories and to possibly inspire someone to follow your footsteps.
We accept and publish guest posts and will proudly feature you as an author. You may write about specific travel experiences or offer general travel tips and advice.
You need to provide three things to get published on Scale Indigo:
- An original story with a minimum of 800 words,
- Good quality, original JPG images. Note: For advisory posts, you may use public domain images by offering credits.
- Author bio with a profile picture, your website / social media handles, and a short description (~50 words) of yourself.

Take an Interview
Writing a new post from scratch can be challenging for some. We make it easy by providing a structure in the form of a series of questions. Just answer these to get featured.
Note: Interview themes may change from time-to-time. For instance, we may do an interview series on North East India for six months and then switch to another location for the next six.
Similar to a post submission, you need to provide the following during an interview:
- Each original answer should be between 100-500 words,
- Good quality, original JPG images.
- Author bio with a profile picture, your website / social media handles, and a short description (~50 words) of yourself.
All answers must be based on real-experiences. We may seek additional information and photographs, and edit interviews before publishing – all this to make sure, you look good!
