We enjoy slow travel and curating related stories and tips. Scale Indigo is a project to share such experiences and helpful reviews that our readers can use.
Our travel publishing journey kicked off with Backpacking Series which then merged with Unakriti. Many of our readers felt that the move diluted the niche value of our stories and that they did not enjoy the resulting feed as much as they used to. Hence, we now have a separate, scalable, and (hopefully) a permanent home here for all things travel.
While we may have changed homes a few times, our style of work remains consistent. As much as we love to write out our own experiences, we are equally excited to share yours. You may post a guest column, take an interview, review a business, or review our book on your website. We love to collaborate.

Always Seeking New Ideas and Places
We do a mix of travel styles. Sometimes, we prefer long stays ranging from 4 weeks to 4 months. At others, we do short weekend trips. Irrespective of the duration or destination, we seek offbeat places offering an inherent sense of exclusivity. Most times, such places are away from the mainstream travel attractions. Being remote, we see our hosts and neighbours as a social bridge with the local communities.
While we adapt readily to the local lifestyle, we look for a safe and independent living space with basic comforts. We also prefer local recommendations to explore nearby places to eat, click pictures, and to create memories.
If you are a business such as a homestay or a cafe, we would be happy to try your services and, as possible, post a helpful review for our readers. Register for free and list your business with us.
These are legacy numbers from Unakriti. In the next 24 months, Scale Indigo followers are likely to grow as we launch new campaigns.
